I joined the Military (Navy) right out of High School and served 22 years in the Navy, retiring as an LDO Lieutenant. I was fortunate to meet my wife in Artesia California and have on son. Since retirement from the military we continue to reside in California. I continue to work in the ship repair industry.

Enlisted directly after graduation. Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Advanced Individual Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky in 11E (Recon). Stationed at Fort Knox as part of 7th Sqdn 1st Cav for a short while then sent to West Germany as E-5 Sgt. patrolling the Iron Curtain at both Hof and Coburg base camps as part of 2nd Sqdn 2nd Armored Cav until ETS. ETS'ed as AJ E-6 and went to work as a coal miner in Kentucky. Went to school as full time student while working full time and gained A.S. degree in Mining Engineering, B.S. degree in Business Management, and finally an M.B.A. in 2010. Currently serving as Corp. Director of Safety & Environmental Affairs.
