There seems to be some confusion on this event and another reunion event a few others are planning for September 2017. As the elected 2006-2007 Senior Class President and ASB President, Michelle Good (Moseley) and I, Sheree Corbett (Montgomery) assumed the responsibility of coordinating reunions for our class. This is that event.
If others would like to coordinate their own reunion for another date, everyone is free to do so, by all means, who hates more parties!?

The reunion will be held on Saturday 10 September 2016 at the Shingle Springs Elks Lodge, the same location as 5 and 10 years ago. The schedule will be from 6 PM to 11 PM, those with earlier bedtimes will be excused. The reunion will be casual dress, though classmates who wish to dress up will be allowed entrance. A catered dinner will be served around 7-7:30ish, but the main objective of the evening is to encourage informal visiting and getting reacquainted with past friendships, and getting acquainted with those who were outside your circle of friends at Ponderosa.
The following day, Sunday the 11th, there will be a BBQ picnic at the Cameron Park Gazebo at the lake. The times will be from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
Update: we actually have the Gazebo from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, which includes set-up and clean-up time, so classmates are welcome throughout that time period. However, lending a hand will be expected. :)
The reunion committee would like to know the interest in each of the two events, the evening reunion at the Elks Lodge, and the picnic the next day at the Cameron Park Gazebo. Our Ponderosa High, Class of '66 50th Anniversary Reunion is scheduled for two months from today! The clock is counting down.
However, 10 of the 49 classmates who indicated they would like to attend the reunion have yet to return their registration forms with payment... please do so ASAP! Jackie needs a head-count.

We have a committee that meets monthly- would love more people - we are still gathering costs and will have a price soon. There will be vendors selling food, the event cost will include the fairgrounds (tables, chairs, shade tents, etc) a Mega Reunion t-shirt, some other gift, slide show, music, and more. There will be a $5 charge for all day bounce house, etc. for kids and other entertainment (there will be a flat rate for those with 4 or more children). More info to come soon.
