My daughter asked me if I had ever been to a high school reunion. I told her, "Sadly, I hadn't", and she said, "You could go next year." She asked me how many years it's been, and I responded, "I don't know, maybe 40, 45? No, wait. Holy crap. It's our 50th!"
Ever since that realization, I've wanted to explore the possibility of having a reunion next year. I can help organize the event from over here as long I can conduct my part electronically (phone calls, video conferencing), and then I would need someone over there who could also help but also be a contact person for any onsite visits, if necessary. We could also use help from someone in contacting classmates who are not registered on this site. Please let me know if you are interested and your idea of the type of venue (e.g., Are we talking Williams Inn or The '6 House Pub or someone's barn?) and when. Of course, the venue might depend on how many classmates are interested. We need to start planning now because many will need to make travel arrangements.
