About Me	After getting my Ph.D. from UC Davis, I was awarded a post-doctoral research associatship at Cornell University. From Cornell, I joined Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. I was employed at the Labs as a research scientist for 21 years, at which point I changed assignments and did studies for Sandia management and a range of external customers (DOE, DoD, DoJ). After 27+ years at the Labs, my financial planner and the pension calculator indicated that my wife of (then) 33 years and I could retire. Since then we have pursued our various interests vigorously.
