| About Me | Worked in metals exploration industry after graduate school then moved to Baltimore MD as a professor of geology. I completed my research and teaching career with 32 years as a professor of geology and material science at UC Berkeley. Over that period I taught most of the field geology courses at Cal to students in earth sciences, paleontology, engineering, forestry, human evolution, and architecture.
