About Me	college. living in europe (italy -- firenze) senior year and choosing to remain abroad and travel to croatia and england in lieu of returning to retarded and sweaty tallahassee to graduate. moving to gainesville b/c i didn't know what to do with my life to live with my then-boyfriend only to realize that my degree was good enough to get me a job at the olive garden. working as a photographer for a gainesville publication (i.e. - taking pics of drunk people in bars). deciding that gainesville was crap and moving to tokyo to teach english. realizing that my company in tokyo was lame and i needed only to stay as long as it took me to explore the parts of japan i really wanted to see. returning to gainesville and having a quarter-life crisis. applying like mad for internships and getting one in orlando at pink sneakers productions. interning for mtv and vh1 on hogan knows best, true life, and i want a famous face. loving production. getting a job as a roadie/merch girl/backup dancer for my friends in the goth/darkwave band the cruxshadows (see: www.cruxshadows.com). working at the wh olive garden and meeting my now husband. going on tour EVERYWHERE in europe for the summer of 2005. returning to winter haven and deciding that it was crap (for us) and moving to LALA land (los angeles) with the now-husband, patrick. working at trader joe's for a stint (organic/awesome food store). getting a job in production and working in malibu and pasadena and realizing firsthand that hollywood is just a popularity contest on a global scale and that celebrity is a lie. getting married in griffith park in a cave (the same park where the hollywood sign is, only different location, in case you were curious). having way too much fun. getting pink dreadlock extensions. finding out i was pregnant. reassessing life. moving to nyc without a plan or a job because los angeles is nowhere for anyone to live unless they have to (or are ridiculously, insanely rich...and even then...WHY WOULD YOU???)... getting job after job in nyc before realizing i want to be home with my daughter and doing my art and pursuing production on MY own time and not someone else's. staying at home with my daughter (and LOVING it) while my husband goes back to work and reassesses his life goals... and finally (most recently) battling with my husband's rare diagnosis of GBS. he was hospitalized...(read more)
