About Me	Born in San Diego, I grew up on the West Coast, Encinitas California, Tacoma, WA, Chelan WA. Moved to Hawaii in 1984. Met my wife Kate at the University of Hawaii--married in 1991. Graduated and started teaching English on Kauai (Kapaa) in 1991. Moved to Kailua, HI and taught on Oahu (Castle High) and later on Maui (King Kekaulike High). First child, Kieran born in 1996 at Kapiolan Medical Center (same place our President was born). Moved to Atlanta area in 1997. Second child, Erin was born on Thanksgiving day in 2001.
