| About Me | I am a very open-minded person, trying to see the essence in each person and what their beliefs are. I am married to a wonderful man, Rob Goldsmith, who is the Rector of an Episcopal parish here in MD. As soon as we were married, we moved to New Orleans for his work in a very large parish there. We lived there for 12 years, surviving Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, among other hurricanes and tropical storms. It is a whole different ballgame when you live below sea level and a storm comes in. I have two beautiful, intelligent and charming step-daughters-Jessica, who went to Smith and lives in D,C.; and Hannah, who went to Wellesley and lives in New York City. They are both happy and thriving. We have three dogs (being the animal-lover I am); Mollie, a black/tan mix, is 13 and is a Katrina survivor (we lost our beautiful Husky, Mischa); Sophie, a beautiful Chesapeake Bay Retriever and is almost 7; and our gorgeous mini-Doxxie, who is also almost 7. I also love horses, feeling a strong emotional and spiritual connection with them. Rob and I have travelled to Italy, where daughter, Jessica, was studying; to Scotland, where daughter,Hannah, was studying; to Florida to swim with the dolphins; twice to beautiful Bermuda; to New Mexico and New York; and I lived in Sedona, AZ, for 8 months to help a friend begin a Labyrinth Ministry. After living right off Magazine St in New Orleans for 13 years, we returned to our log cabin home in Ellistion, VA, for two years due to my declining health, and have been living out in the country-side in Maryland for the past three years and are loving it here.
