About Me	I taught 1st grade at Horace Mann after graduating from University of Toledo. My 2 children were born in Toledo. We relocated to Barberton then Dayton, Ohio. I was a substitute teacher for 8 years. Because teachers were being laid off when I was ready for full time again, I did social work for 2 years. In 1985 I was offered a full time position teaching Junior High Special Needs students. I took the job, went back to graduate school and for 21 years had a great time teaching those Special Needs students @ Stivers School for the Arts, Dayton Public Schools. I retired in 2006.
