| About Me | Beechcraft Super King Air B200 GT Proline 21 Qualified. Air Transport Pilot Airplane Multi Engine Land certificated. Be the man your dog thinks you are I live for: my best friend (my wife),my kids, working with my dog, aviation, music, performing arts, stargazing, camp fires, cooking, emergency medicine, fishing, waterskiing, gardening, writing, and making videos are all my favorite interests. I have many more but too busy to type them all. Music is a motivation, a source of essence, an inspiration, a way to make me cry and a reason to live. A piano speaks my language, a violin sooths my heart and a good voice stirs my soul. Music is the only glimpse of heaven on earth. I am a husband, a dad, a kid at heart, and my dog looks up to me. Family and faith are my focus. I am a pilot (ATP-AMEL), Flight Instructor, EMT-I, earned my 4 year degree but then went back to college for additional aviation, then for pre-med, and then accomplished one of two years toward a Master's in Educational Technology. I worked as an instructor for the University of North Dakota Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences-Department of Aviation for 10 years and really miss it. I was fortunate to be chief flight instructor in contact training for ab-initio training for pilots for many airlines including China Airlines. I left aviation education for corporate and charter pilot jobs as a chief pilot for a company in Grand Forks, then I moved to Fargo for a Director or Operations Position in 2000. During my pilot career I received additional training and education in avaiation including twin engine, turbine, high altitude operations, safety, charter and other various additional aviation related subjects. In addition to the aviation training I received additional training and education in Emergency Medical (Ambulance related) Technician, and went back to college to complete pre-med course work, followed by completing the first year of a two year Graduate program in Educational Technology. Just after working the floods of '97 in the Red River Valley (24 hour shifts for one month straight) I finally burned out and decided not to work 2 full time jobs. Amanda, our youngest, was born in 97 and we moved to Moorhead, MN in 2000. Where I continued to work in both aviation and Emergency Medical Services. Since 2003 I have been working as a Specialist in the NW Region for the State of MN for the EMS Regulatory Board. I have the urge to work a second job as either a pilot or EMT but I have 3 teenagers at home with whom we have a lot of fun with, so perhaps someday, but I am having the time of my life right now.
