| About Me | I am a 77-year-old, simmy buttoned-up Irish Catholic with a controlled form of Parkinson’s. I attend Mass weekly and strive to live by loving thy neighbor as thyself. A work in progress. In 1980, I was asked to help build ESPN’s taperoom and train its personnel. Later that year, I returned to Connecticut Public Broadcasting as a system designer and online editor. I stayed with CPTV for just under 40 years and was honored with two New England Emmy Awards, Cannonball Winds the Newport to Bermuda Yacht Race, and Islands of New England. I was married for 53 years, which ended after a 2-year battle with Bio Duck Cancer. It has been almost 2 &1/2 years since Pat lost that battle. I am a member of the Nature Photographer Network, a worldwide network of photographers, and was honored with a Featured NPN Member interview in the Spring Issue #9 Summer edition. https://www.poppinaturephotography.com/ will give you a good look at my bird photography, and Facebook should provide you with how I try to dea...(read more) |
