About Me	I've worked for several large corporations in the defense industry since 1971. Immediately after high school I worked at Black & Decker in Hampstead, Md. In October 1971, I was accepted into a 4 year machinist apprenticeship program at Koppers Company in Baltimore. February 1979, I was hired by the Westinghouse Defense and Electronic Division in Annapolis. The Westinghouse Annapolis site is located on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay next to the Bay Bridge. In 1996 Westinghouse Defense and Electronics Sector was purchased by the Northrop Grumman Corp. Today Northrop Grumman is the second largest defense contractor in North America. I retired September 1, 2010 at age 58 from Northrop Grumman in Annapolis with 31-1/2 years of service. My years of service with Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman were a fantastic career.
