| About Me | After graduation from Western , I attended Peabody Conservatory of Music ( Peabody is now affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, so I am considered to be a graduate of Hopkins !) After receiving my Bachelor’s degree, I got a Fulbright Grant for further study in Vienna, Austria. I held the position of Assistant Principal Cello in the Zürich Tonhalle Orchestra from 1977 to my retirement in 2012 ( David Zinman was the principal conductor of the Tonhalle Orchestra following his sojourn with the Baltimore Symphony .)
