| About Me | I 've lived in Bangor, Maine for the last 30 years with my husband, Ed, and our 4 children: Kate, 26; Andy 24; Matt, and Kelly 22 - our son Matt died on October 19, 2011. Totally unexpected. He went to bed and when Ed went to wake him up - he was dead. This pretty much defines my life right now. We work hard at being present for the children. Kate married Ian Foran on July 21st. It was a beautiful wedding . Ed carried a piece of Matt in a candle we had his ashes put in. I quit my preschool job thinking I needed time to grieve.
