| About Me | After high school I retired from professional bike riding and joined Department of State where I worked abroad for 4 years. Later, I joined the Army were I became an EOD tech.(AKA Army Bomb Squad). I severed in the Army for 7 years. During which time I met and married my wife and had a son we affectionately call “JoJo”. After promising my wife that I would leave the Army for a less dangerous job, I joined the Air National Guard’s “Full Spectrum Threat Response” flight and got a job with a private company. Who knew that the Air National Guard would deploy me to Iraq for the entire war and in addition, the company that I work for send back 4 more time!!!! I’m not complaining, it’s just war is what it is, good and bad. There are however, two things I can say about it though, I really enjoyed working with some of the most remarkable people on earth but I can also say that it was good to come home too. Today, I am what is called CBRNE SME or Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives Subject Matter Expert. It’s not as impressive as it may sound but I sure do have a lot of fun doing it. In short, life so far has been very good to me and perhaps even blessed. I have a loving wife, a wonderful son, 3 horses, 1 pony, 4 cats, 2 dogs, 9 chickens, 4 guineas, 1 goat and a little piece of heaven we call the Bella Amore Ranch.
