About Me	In how many words? OK, here goes...Joined the Navy the summer of 68. Went to Vietnam. Came back in one piece. Served on the USS New Orleans during the Apollo 14 recovery and was a member of the color guard. Attended four colleges before finally graduating with a degree in Political Science. Became a Senate Intern and worked for Sam Nunn (a Great Man!)...opted not to go to Law School and decided to go back into the Navy to fly. Got a commission. Learned to fly airplanes. Finished my time and became a Pan Am pilot based in Berlin. Lived there for four years and probably would never have left if the wall had not come down. Stood on the top of the Berlin Wall next to the Brandenburg Gate the night the wall came down. Drank a lot of Champagne and woke up with an awful (but quite memorable) hangover. Flew as a contract pilot for Luftthansa after Pan Am sold them the Berlin base. Ended up in New York then back in New Orleans after being acquired by Delta Airlines when the North Atlantic routes were sold. Flew for Delta until my flying career ended following a car accident. Married a wonderful woman who is employed in the oil industry and became an accompanying spouse...first in the Netherlands for 3 years and now in Malaysia.
