Favorite School Memory	Probly singing in Carolers Group, when music teacher Dan Holms taught, we won state competition every year, DH was very commited to the music students. AND, hey, I love eating plants! especially, when I forgot my Lines in the school play "Flowers for Algernon" - I was so mad I dropped those lines!!! About Me	Probly a little of everything. I have to admit, I have not had much luck keeping a wife, so far, I have had two! It seems I am always on the lookout for the next X-Mrs. Boyd Shumate...so... anyone you can hook me up with? In 2000, I flew to China to Adopt my Chinese Daughter, Afton. We, my wife at the time, went with 20 couples as a group to China and it was a trip of a lifetime! Afton, was 18 months old at the time of the adoption. We flew into Bejing, then onto Shanghai, then south to Guangho and then back to the states. Afton is 9 years old,now, keeping up with her is a blast, the school district here just hosted the annual "50's Daughter - Father Dinner Dance" so we danced the night away with a gym full of dads and daughters "acting" like we knew how to dance fifties style!, too fun - funny!
