| About Me | I was married to David Earl Allen for 29 years. David passed away in 2004 of lung and esophageal cancer. We have four beautiful children. David was able to enjoy our first grandchild, Jacob prior to his passing. I now have eight, four boys and four girls. We spent 15 yrs in Salt Lake City, UT prior to moving to Minnesota in 1989. I hold two undergraduate degrees and numerous certificates in the technology field. I found I was bored in that field so I continued my education and obtained my Masters in International Business. I opened my own business in 2001, a dry cleaning and tailoring operation. That business burned with the 35W bridge collapse. I was unable to reopen. I was diagnosed with Stage 3c triple negative breast cancer in the fall of 2007. After surgery, chemo and radiation I thought this disease was under control. Late 2008 the cancer metastasized to the brain. The surgeon could only remove one of the two tumors so I still have one up there. I am under close watch my Neurologist and Oncologist.
