Favorite School Memory	Grad Night with all of my best friends. Worst memory: Appling County beating us in football 64-0, and their cannon going off behind our heads after every touchdown!
About Me	After graduation, I attended Stetson University for 2 1/2 years, and later transferred to Valdosta State, where I earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Education. I married Joshua Stone, a percussionist in the U.S. Marine Corps Band. We were stationed at Parris Island, SC, and I taught choir and music appreciation in Beaufort, SC for three years. We received orders to Okinawa, Japan, where we lived for four years. While we were there, I taught choir and music appreciation at Okinawa Christian School for one year, then taught general music at Bob Hope Primary School at Kadena Air Base for three years. We transferred to Long Island, NY, where our two children, Rebekah and Caleb were born. Josh was appointed to the rank of Warrant Officer in 2005, and we transferred to Camp Pendleton, CA, where he is the Band Officer and OIC of the 1st Marine Division Band.
