About Me	Moved all over the US & Canada w/first husband Don Anderson. We settled back in DBQ in 1976 and I started to work for John Deere as well. We divorced in 1979. I met Doug Johnson at John Deere & we married in 1981. We have 3 children, 1 daughter and 2 sons. The two oldest are married and each have 2 children ages 2 & 4. Our youngest son is not married yet and travels with his job but uses our house as his home base. I home schooled all three of them through all their years of school. That was a giant undertaking but one I will be grateful I tackled until the day I die. We have so many memories (good & bad & ugly) that we have shared and strong relationships because of it. When the youngest graduated 5 years ago I slowly worked my way back into the job market and am currently employed at a small company that publishes telephone directories as their administrative assistant. Ironically we publish the directory for the Vinton area so it is fun to chat with some local folks when they call for a question or problem. My husband is starting his 39th year w/John Deere and we hope to retire him at 62 which will be 4 more years at JD. We haven't decided on retirement plans too much yet as it seems too far off still. By our reunion time in 1913 we may have a better idea. I was sorry to have missed the 35th reunion if one took place as I hadn't missed one up till then and like to catch up on those who come.
