About Me	After high school I was awarded a Naval R.O.T.C scholarship and was accepted to SUNY Maritime College in the Bronx. While there I played Division III basketball and rowed crew. Unfortunately my asthma was worse than the government expected, causing me to lose my scholarship, resulting in a transfer to the University of Connecticut. I graduated from Uconn, where I later graduated with a degree in social anthropology. After a few years of working in the hospitality industry as a private dining director and restaurant manager, I decided that I wasn't 100% happy with my job, so I decided to go for a second degree, this time in nursing.
