About Me	I joined the Army Reserves the summer out of high school and served as a medical logistician for nearly six years. During that time, I also graduated from East Central University in December of 2004 (was a member of the East Central Cross Country team for four years). I began teaching (junior and senior English) in the spring of 2005 and got married over spring break of that same semester. I moved onto teaching seventh graders for the next three years, and during that time, my Army Reserve career progressed to the point at which I got commissioned as a medical-service officer. This promotion led me to a year-and-a-half mobilization at Fort Hood, Texas, where I served as an operations officer for a training-support battalion. During that period, I also continued my education and am one class away from a master degree in education with a specialty in secondary administration.
