About Me	Still going strong at almost 84. I am still certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and am Professor Emeritus from SUNY-Downstate Medical Center where I was instrumental in establishing their graduate nursing program in the 1980s. I LOVE nursing and teaching, and had leadership roles in the NJ State Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. My beloved husband of almost 60 years died suddenly in March 2025. He was a great engineer, working extensively with satellite communication. And he was an Amateur Extra Ham Radio Operator, for which he had a passion! Our wonderful daughter is a physician and we have a terrific grandson who just turned 16 and can't wait until he qualifies for his learner's permit so he can drive. We live in a wonderful, small borough just outside of Princeton, NJ, with a park right behind our homes and deer in the backyard every day; sometimes on the patio too.
