About Me	I taught 6th grade at Minford for one year. The rest of my teaching career has been at Valley Elementary School, where I have taught remedial reading (13 years), extended day kindergarten (7 years) and all day kindergarten (14 years). I am married to Clarence Bender, a retired social studies teacher at Valley High School. I have twin sons, Clarence and Stewart, and a daughter, Terri. I am the proud grandmother of eight: five boys-Gavyn, Kollyn, Ayden, Jaylen, and Jaxsyn and three girls-Taylor, Katelyn, and Ashleigh.
