About Me	While in high school I became a Fire Fighter with the St. Nazianz Fire Department, September 09,2001 I joined the United States Marine Corps and when to MCRD San Diego for Boot Camp. I completed boot camp and received training in Marine Combat Training and in Air Craft Recovery. One year later in 2002 I was stationed in Havelock North Carolina at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Received training as a Heavy Machine Gunner. February 2003 I was deployed to Kuwait to stand by to invade Iraq. Completed my first successful combat tour of Iraq as a 50 cal machine gunner. Returned to the US and completed other classified deployments. In February of 2005 I returned for a second combat tour of Iraq and returned to the US in July of 2005. I completed my active duty tour on September 9, 2005 with 4 years of Honorable Service. While I was in the Marine Corps I became a North Carolina EMT/Fire Fighter and joined the Havelock Fire Rescue. I was awarded the Fire Fighter of the Year award in 2004. In July of 2005 I was promoted to Lieutenant. I am still a current member of the department. In August of 2005 I began North Carolina BLET (Basic Law Enforcement Training) I graduated March of 2006 and April 4 2006 I was hired and sworn in as a Police Officer for the Havelock Police Department. In February of 2008 I began the application process for a Federal Fire Fighter/EMT position with The United States Department of Defense. September 8 of 2008 I received my phone call for employment and should be working full time as a Federal Fire Fighter aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point by September 29 2008. Since August of 2005 I also have been taking joint Classes with Craven Community College and East Carolina University to receive my Associates in Criminal Justice and a Associates in Fire Science.
