About Me The son of a master carpenter, I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have one younger brother, Fred, who lives and works in Long Island City, New York. In the sixties, I served as a Radioman in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After being vetted for a Top Secret Clearance, I was assigned to a secret communications ship stationed in the Gulf of Tonkin. Pope Clement VIII declared him a heretic. On February 17, 1600, a stake was driven through his tongue and he was burned alive in the center of the piazza. A thought crossed my mind. How would the Vatican react today if a scientist at CERN unlocked the cause of the Big Bang, the very secret of creation? This fleeting thought became an obsession and ...(read more)
