| About Me | I'm looking for a committed relationship with an honest, fairly healthy, and communicative companion/mate who has the same interests in life. Looking for someone who is independent but wants to share their life. A team player. We all have baggage and it is what made us who we are-but it shouldn't interfere with our lives. I enjoy a stimulating conversation and a laugh-(teasing or being teased), going on planned or unplanned scenic drives in Colorado or the US. Cooking and sharing a meal with friends or eating out. A quiet evening at home watching TV, sitting on the porch watching a thunder storm in the afternoon or the stars at night. A pleasant walk, or movie, going to museums-seeing history. Some of my favorite drives have been spur of the moment. Saw a road and wondered where it went, so just took off on it. Have found some amazing sights, even swimming holes. Love the smell of a pine tree forest and the surprising smell of a camp fire. Going fishing up at Island Lake and sitting in the quiet and hearing the trees moving in the breeze. A fish is a bonus, but not a necessity. Drive over the Mesa on Land's End road, always see something new. Drive over Red Mountain always takes my breath away. Growing up in the San Joaquin Valley of CA I spent summer weekends camping either at the coast (Avila or Pismo Beach) or near Three Rivers-just below the entrance to Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park. I grew up in a small farming town with strong morals and family values. I'm the oldest of three, but my "younger" sister still bosses me around. LOL I look forward to finding that one person to enjoy & share life with, to end the day with a kiss (or more) to cuddle up to during the night. I enjoy reading fiction, listening to most types of music, putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing card games, dominos, exploring the internet, watching network TV.
