| About Me | Jeremiah 7:5-7 give it a look. I was conceived in Liberal, Kansas during WWII, which may explain my politics. I was born a coal miner's daughter and a milkman's granddaughter. Well, my dad did lay dynamite for strip mining in SE Ohio as a kid... I have four living out of five siblings and am the second born. My mom was one of the bravest and most beautiful women I've ever known, and I miss her. National Geographics were all over at my grandparents' house and it developed in me a yearning for things exotic, so of course I studied the only foreign language offered in high school for all four years and made it my career as well. Spent a summer in Madrid and have been back to Spain several times, to Ireland, Mexico, Costa Rica and five mission trips to Guatemala. Travel is a passion! I read more than I do housework, but we get by. I love to cook but seldom have dinner guests (see housework, above) If you don't mind untidy, you are welcome to drop by!
