About Me When I graduated from school (yes a half year late, I should have got out in 75), I moved out to California & lived with my brother Mark, who was in the Navy. That showed me how I needed a career, either more school, or a trade. I joined the Navy. I went through Navy schools for about a year and half, then went out to sea, living on an aircraft carrier, USS Midway homeported in Yokosuka Japan for the remaining 2 and a half years, I was having a good time so I extended a year on the ship which put me on active duty for a few months over my 4 years. Anyway I was trained as an electronics tech, working autopilots on a bench supporting one of the Navy's most advanced electronics aircraft, the EA-6B, an Electronics Jammer. I was able to visit many Asian countries,,, (falling in love many,, many times,, oh excuse me..) I have worked for other people in aviation for most of my time. In air-cargo out at "Will It Run" Airport (Willow Run) Ypsilanti, then found myself down in Dallas in corporate aviation working for what was KC Aviation, that was owned by Kimberly Clark. A few years back I started working for myself, and now I have a small avionics shop just south of Dallas. I provide mobile services for the greater DFW area. I have a A&P license with a IA endorsement, along with my FCC General Radiotelephone license,, and now I have a Repair Station license with limited instrument & radio ratings. If the Lord is willing I will be here till either he returns or I go there!! As probably most of us have, I have been through my share of ups and downs, and changes for the better. If you have time, send me an email, I like to hear from all people. My website is pdgservices.com, I have contact info on there, and probably more info about me and my interests. See me on facebook, I recently posted pictures there from my Navy days, yuk, yuk, yuk,,,, And a couple on here from those old school crazy hazey daze... :) ...(read more)
