| Favorite School Memory | Completing the mandatory speech class! I was petrified of public speaking and therefore elated when I finished that course. |
| About Me | After graduation I worked in a law firm. In the summer of '63 I married Chuck Brewer whom I had dated all through my Junior & Senior years at Thornridge. We were married for 14 years. Our marriage ended in late '77 but we were fortunate to have had two beautiful children, Dave and Julie. From them we now have two grandchildren; Dave's son, Alex who is 13, and Julie's daughter, Britt, who is 15. I returned to the business world after my divorce and found I really enjoyed working. I met and married my husband, Paul Maxcy, in 1980 and continued working. I truly found my professional niche in 1991 when I joined UBS Investment Bank. There I had tremendous opportunities for global travel which Paul encouraged me to pursue. I traveled to Zurich, Lucerne, & Basel, Switzerland, in addition to numerous trips to London. Some of my business trips lasted several weeks so I had the pleasure of learning the culture, and enjoying the people and the sights of Switzerland and England when I wasn't working. I was with UBS for nearly 15 years and retired as a Director in their Information Technology Division.
