| About Me | I accidentally got into the music world after leaving Richmond in the middle of my sophomore year at VCU (Jan. 1972). I feel kind of like I slid through the cracks while in Richmond. I didn't have enough self-esteem or confidence and hardly anyone seemed to notice my apparent devotion to making music or songwriting, but when I got to NJ in 72, someone heard me play guitar and got me into a band that started working frequently. At that time, I really got active in writing songs, too. I had my experiences performing, recording, producing, engineering and even being a little bit of a journalist. 34 years later, I moved to Nashville, TN to really get into the music INDUSTRY, but my timing was off, LOL! I had a lot of wonderful experiences and life lessons regarding all of that, crossing paths with some pretty interesting folks along the way. Needless to say, I stayed and then retired. I have a happy life on several levels. My second wife, Dawn, has been the love of my life since we first got together in 2000. My kids by my first wife, adults, are all apparently happy and thriving, being self-driven. My stepson and his wife are also doing great! My "retirement" might be considered figurative, in that I have a home recording studio with more instruments than any human really needs. I spend every day working on music, writing, recording and producing, but it's not really work, because, luckily, that is what I am.
