| About Me | single, My focus and happiness lives in providing health, joy, wealth, and support for my Son, Sam Allen, and my Grandson Jacob Ryan. Jacob is approching his fifth birthday anniversary on December 26th. I enjoy my time with Jocab even more than OU beating UT in football. Jacob is a terrific child and it is more rewarding to spend time with him after I (hopefully all of us who have children) gained some parenting knowledge and skills. I hope we all learned somethings about parenting along the way. I am reminded virtually everyday that parenting and learning (hopefully togather) continue for life. I am continuing with investment advice as a "Professional Advisor", registered as such with several firms. This allows me access to more research and investment information and ideas that are not provided to the general public. I still work with some of my l Insurance Clients from the past 39 years. I finally reached annunity pay age due to the 25 years I served in Active Service in the U.S. Army Reserve. I am going through the process of (re) assessing previous choices on fundamental issues such as enviromental regulation for the long range time frame. I pay more attention to the issues of future quality of life- Grandchildren certainly add many years to my/our focus reference point! I still have the desire to own a small sail boat, and a house/property near a good sailing lake. With the sale of my other house and Texas Veteran financing this is do able but not as a sole living place, I do not want to be that far away from Sam and Jacob. My townhouse represents the opportunity for me to have both. Canyon Lake, TX. and the Edwards Aquifer water rights would be terrific! Some other concerns of interest are the abuse of the political election process' and more focus on positions and the issues rather than general Party affilinations. I consider energy and potable water sources, enviromental focused companies, basic materials, and land in the expansion zones of Houston and Austin, Tx. as the wisest long (3 to 75+ years) term investments. I consider potable Water as the prime concern and investment for the for see able future. The Water Rights investment field has many aspects to it. Politics represents a significant factor regarding water rights. I have a plan to improve my health, starting with cardiovascular- in spite of developing hip and knee problems and (as predicted) a significant increase in discomfort due to the football derived broken vertebrae. I believe in and use Brain training to keep the mind sharpe (or I like to think so anyway!), as I learned about on PBS TV and more and more sources. Football is my favorite sport to watch. I still have season tickets for the Houston Symphony. I have both the POPS tickets and some of the "Classical" ...(read more) |
