Favorite School Memory	I do not have any specific favorite memories, just how much I loved high school and participating in sports.
About Me	After high school, I attended GCC for 2 years, then finished my undergraduate degree at NAU. I worked for a racquet club after college and met a paramedic through the club that convinced me to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). I pursued my EMT and was hired by Arizona Medical Transport. I worked there for a couple of years and while there, I started testing for firefighter. I was hired by Glendale Fire Department in 1985 as a fire recruit. After graduating from the Fire Academy and becoming a firefighter I never looked back. As a firefighter, I was a member of the hazardous materials team for 3 years. I began testing for Captain and was eventually promoted in 1995. During my time as a captain, I worked on an engine company, was in charge of the Community Relations Division and then worked on Battalion 151 as an Incident Safety Officer. I was promoted to Battalion Chief 2005 and served as Personnel Division Chief until 2007 when I was promoted to Deputy Chief. As Deputy Chief I oversaw the Health, Safety and Wellness Division along with managing the fire department health center. Prior to retiring, I oversaw the EMS Division. I retired July, 2015 after serving 30 years with Glendale Fire Department. As for my personal life, I married in 1986 to Ray Frey. Ray and I met through the ambulance company. He was the mechanic at the time. We never had children, but are pet parents to 4 dogs.
