About Me	During and after undergraduate and graduate school I worked in architectural and planning offices. I was in state government from 1984 to 1989, and I have been Planning Director of the Artery Business Committee and its successor A Better City since 1989. I have served on the Brookline Development Committee and its successor the Economic Development Advisory Board since 1992. I am currently Chair of the Urban Ring Transportation Project Citizens Advisory Committee (which is currently inactive)after chairing several related committees since 1993. Currently Board member and President of the Greater Point Neighborhood Association in Brookline. No, I am not retired and have on intention of retiring until I can afford it, which will be a long time from now. My civic activities keep me very busy, and responsibilities in work keep me busier still, with my day starting just after 8:00 and including evening meetings several nights a month.
