About Me	I thought I wrote all this already. If not, here goes. Post High school I attended St. Cloud Vo-Tech and was certified as a classroom assistant. I served in classes with children having cognitive, emotional, and physical challenges. I did this to finance my college career in Special Education. During those years I worked at Camp Friendship in the summer serving children through the aged in the same field. this is where I met my husband. We worked side-by-side and by the time we married we knew one another's strengths and weaknesses very well. We've loved being married for 44 years and blessed with one child. Both of our careers were in the field of special needs services, collectively serving 108 years. We still continue to do so. We've opened our home to provide both respite-care of these individuals so their families could have a vacation without them and be refreshed. We eventually had a foster home, serving ladies that were aging, who no longer could live independently, but were not ready for a nursing care facility. This was so delightful and these women loved all the attention poured out on them. We have a strong faith in God and have been active in church as small group leaders and marriage ministry.
