About Me	<3 "We're here today, we'll be gone tomorrow, and this life won't even be a memory. We're here today, we'll be gone tomorrow, there we'll praise the Lord through out eternity." <3 Hi my name is Kimberly, I am a down to earth, happy go lucky person. Back in 2003 I met my wonderful husband Dean at our old church. My husband is deaf and has Cerebral Palsy; this however did not stop me. I am hearing and at the time I knew very little sign language but through time and patients I learned. I had prayed for some time that God would bring someone into my life that would accept me as I am and not try to change me. Someone who would not be abusive but treat me the way I should be treated. Lastly the biggest thing of all, a God fearing Christian man!! I would settle for nothing less!! I am not ashamed of my faith and I in no way profess to be perfect. Dean and I were married September 17, 2004 and as time passes I love my husband even more!! On February 14,2006 the Lord blessed us again with a beautiful baby girl whom we named Trinity. Then our world was turned upside down when we were told she had a congenital heart defect. She was born with 3 holes and 2 blockades in her heart. 7 days after she was born she was transferred up to the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott children's hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan. She had open-heart surgery on February 27,2006. It was probably the scariest thing I have ever been through and the whole experience humbled me and made my faith stronger. Though I am a die hard Ohio State Buckeye the U of M hospital kicks butt and their care is top notch!! My husband and I stayed at the Ronald McDonald house while our daughter was in the hospital and once again we were treated wonderful. She is doing quite well at the present and I just can't believe how much she changes everyday!! She may need another surgery but who knows maybe that will not come to pass. God is in control and because God is able I will not worry!! My mother in law gave me a saying that is so true, "I don't know what tomorrow holds but I know who holds tomorrow!!" I thank God everyday for all he has blessed me with and without him I would be nothing. All blessings come from above and we should all be thankful for what we have!! Things could have turned out differently but it my firm belief that God has a purpose for Trinity as he does for all of us. One ministry that is very near and dear to my heart besides choir at our church is the Hands of Praise ministry. Our deaf have their very own Sunday school and all of our services are interpreted for them. I never have understood why some people are not accepting of the deaf. I have many deaf friends and I see past the fact they are deaf. Some people could not understand why I would want to be with someone like Dean and at one time I thought maybe they were right until one day I heard something on the radio.
