| About Me | There was a postcard tucked like a bookmark at the Akron U library that I've saved all these years. In black and white, there is a couple, pasty and dumpling-shaped, perfectly matched. Only when you look closely at the fine art ink drawing, do you recognize they are both winding contraptions in their laps. The caption reads "We've been generating a lot of energy since school." It's only then that you determine that both of them have some sort of hand-crank dynamo in their laps. When I found the postcard in '74 maybe, I was aghast at the appearance of the people, sedentary in their dotage.
