About Me	I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to be when I grow up, which means I miss teaching but can't figure out how to segue into what comes next! I hardly ever forget a face. Something that students found hard to believe is that it's hard for me to be in a crowd, especially of strangers; they thought I had confidence, but the perceived confidence was actually comfort with my subject matter in the classroom, not the room full of people! I've always been able to find contentment surrounded by my pencils and books, although I can't write with pencils - I prefer pens! I played Ethel Jane as a child, which was a Wichita cooking deomonstration show, and I enjoyed singing into a toilet-paper tube microphone on the front porch (but on the stage in my imagination!). I always wanted to be a wife and mother - and I am and thoroughly enjoy our home and all our traditions.
