| About Me | Early in our marriage Ed and I established a summer riding program for girls and still meet with 6 of them occasionally- 50 years later! Then we raised 5 children before I started a 25 year career on the music faculty at Mercyhurst University. There I was fortunate enough to conduct major works for choir and orchestra and to make many trips around the world with my choirs. Through our children we have ties to Africa. Our twin daughters married best friends from Zimbabwe and their sister is married to the CEO of a mine in Tanzania. Our youngest daughter passed away at UPENN where she was a sophomore. She had spinal meningitis. We carry that in our hearts forever. Our son still holds high school and college records - basketball. So I got to yell and cheer as a grown up!
