About Me	It took a while to find my bearings. After graduation, I got into weather observing with DOT, getting posted to Inukjuac, QC and Moosonee, ON as an upper air weather observer, but I was too young to take it. Back to UofM for a BA, a year working in Flin Flon, then a year as "editor" for trade magazines. Bad choice. Then I got to work for The Neepawa Press, where Margaret Laurence cut her teeth. That was nice. But then I got into computer programming, with a course at UofM and almost two years at Red River College. Westfair Foods hired me, but New Brunswick government recruited me, and my life began I got married to a widow with 3 kids, and she gave me a daughter. After 15 years, I got restless, wanting to buy a newspaper in western Canada. A deal I made fell through. Hard times, until I landed a job in Montreal as a senior analyst on the Y2K project for Air Canada. O loved Montreal, even though it was tough scanning over a million lines of code and keeping in touch with the staff in Mumbai, India. After the project, i got offered to open an office in Finland, but because of my wife's ailing health, we decided return to my wife's home in Miramichi, NB. She passed after 25 years of marriage, and I remained for some years until I decided to return to Alberta with my family until now. But I am not done yet.
