About Me	My name is Melanie Koren Jones and I was born March 05,1976 in Shiprock NM I have two sets of parents and 13 siblings including my Step Brother & Step Sisters. Having two families has blessed my life with having the luxury of living and growing up in two places. I became a mother fresh out of high school to a beautiful baby girl named Shade Myrie Since 1995 I have had 6 other pregnancies resulting in 5 other births of my wonderful kiddos; Helana Shine, Elara Snow, Ahani Meili, Huyani Sun & Osias Lion. (Four girls and two boys) the older 4 are girls & younger 2 are boys. I am now living in Waukegan IL with my two youngest boys and we are trying this out for a year to see what comes of it. I initially moved for a job but that fell through. My girls would have came here with me however they have attended the schools here once before and they didn't like it then so they asked to stay in Lawrence KS. During my time here I have formed new bonds with new people and have expanded my family circle. I am learning a lot from a wonderful Belizean family about their culture and I have fallen in love with their traditional foods. If it weren't for them welcoming me with open arms and taking me in then I probably wouldn't be having a great stay in Illinois.
