I remain the late bloomer I've always been. I didn't take up flyfishing till 24, didn't learn to like coffee or beer till 34, didn't marry till 36, didn't have a biokid till 37, didn't complete my dissertation till 43, didn't go for tenure (then, however, successfully) till 50 (or was it 49).
