About Me	I graduated summa cum laude from CSULB with a degree in psychology, then went to CSUSB to complete a masters in clinical counseling. I chose not to finish the masters worked as a substitute teacher at Serrano from 2001 to 2007, teaching on an almost daily basis during both the school year as well as during the summer, when I taught summer school 8th grade English. I also learned to play piano during this time and taught piano, guitar and song-writing for Mountain Arts Academy. In 2004, I completed training as a holistic healer through the BodyTalk program and saw clients for a few years, during which I also started experimenting in the kitchen with alternative foods and substitution-ingredients. Shawn and I were married in 2003, and in August 2007, we relocated to Southern Indiana. I currently work part-time as a substitute teacher for a high school in Louisville, Kentucky while continuing to build a business as a holistic chef and cooking consultant. I am involved with many of Southern Indiana and Louisville's major support groups for those with celiac disease and autism, do frequent lectures on alternative cooking, and travel around the area teaching people...(read more)
