About Me	I worked a a journalist for 46 years. I have been married to journalist Barbara Kantrowitz for 48 years; we have two sons, Michael, who is an official in the U.S. Treasury Department, and Benjamin, who is a battery scientist. We have two grandsons, Simon and Noah. Since retirement, Barbara and I spend time seeing our grandsons and traveling. I go to art exhibits and take and teach courses at the Lifetime Peer Learning Program, an independent educational organization which is loosely affiliated with the City University of New York Graduate Center.
