| About Me | Career of over forty years in advertising, PR and marketing communications. Formerly worked for Blue Cross of Northern California, Oakland, and Blue Shield, San Francisco (where I was statewide PIO). Later, PR director at Coakley Heagerty Advertising, San Jose. Moved to Palm Springs area in 1998; worked as AE for the Jones Advertising Agency for eight years. Now semi-retired as PR consultant. Still enjoy planning and executing promotional programs for local clients and causes. Love my desert home in the mountains in beautiful Rancho Mirage. Here 13 years; formerly in Northern California; east bay, San Jose area and previous home in Menlo Park. War baby (born 4/6/43) in San Francisco while dad in the Army; moved from Peoria, IL to California with family in 1953; subsequently lived in Pleasant Hill, Alamo and Oakland. Graduated from San Ramon High School, Danville and Cal State University, Hayward. In my late twenties, lived in Sydney, Australia three years. Formerly married.
