About Me	Worked with Alabama Forestry Commission in genetic research for super pine trees for 15 years. Obtained BS in Elementary Education at age 48 and got my first job teaching 1st grade at Coffee Springs the following year. Taught 2nd grade in Hartford then transfered to Samson to teach 2nd grade then 5th grade for two years before retiring in December of 2008. During this time we have welcomed 10 grandchildren into the world and have enjoyed every minute that we can with them. We entertain them on the farm quite often with golf cart rides through the woods looking for wildlife and fishing in the ponds.
