About Me	I entered the Navy in 1980. I was stationed on the USS San Francisco SSN-711, a fast attack submarine. Our Homeport was Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I made two western pacific deployments.We visited Japan,The Phillipines, Guam, Austrailia,Thailand and Hong Kong. A good friend of mine (Jack Murphy) intoduced me to his niece Judy as I was leaving the service. I went back to Salem, and she went back to Pittsburgh ( Jack's hometown ) in 1984. In 1985 I got a job in the Newport News shipyard. In 1987 Judy and I started seeing each other and we were married on September 24 1988. We moved back to Salem for a year then moved to Pittsburgh and have lived here ever since. We have two daughters and a son.
