| About Me | I attended Ann Bailey elementary school on 405 Winfield Rd St Alba ns West Virginia. I lived on 10 Willis Lane off Winfield Rd. These are some of the names I remember from grade school. Kim Tenney, Libby Steele, David Randolph, Jeff Johnson, Roger Jordan, Joy Johnson, Becky Holt, Mary Beth Webb, Jospeh Wolfe, Randy Harpold, Bruce Dickson, Jeffery Johnson, Cherie Hickman, Maggie Michaels, Deedee Totten, Randy Hartwell, Darlene Brammer, Libby Steele, and Kim Tenny. I was the one boy in Charleston that all the other boy's bullied. I had been bullied by three of my new classmates on my first day of school, and it got out of hand. Kids' what were we thinking? I also was the boy they nicknamed shadow eyes, and made fun of me because I had so many animals. The town folk soon came to call my large pet tufted owl Mothman,lol. When I was walking home from that fight, the boys cornered me in the woods, they chased me up a tree and they boys claim my owl attached them. I loved my school despite the bullying. I had a lot of fun at the school carnivals, when I won me some goldfish in the coin toss, well that started my love for aquariums. It seemed all the boy's hated me in school for being a sissy pretty boy, yet the girls all loved me. The town even went so far as to blame me and Wisdom, my tufted black owl for the collapse of the silver bridge, just because I was standing on the southside the minute it collapsed at 5:04pm. My childhood was ruff, but I made it threw despite it all. At 12, on August 18th 1967 for 7-days they placed me inside the Wood Haven Geriatrics aka (Waverly Hills Sanatorium) for conversion ECT. It failed big time, then they sent me to the St Albans Sanatorium for boy's on September 2nd 1967, were I lasted only 24 hours before being thrown out. The staff all claim that I had brought the Creeper and Mothman into both sanatoriums. I was just a child at that time.
