About Me	Navigator US Navy submarine service, various boats.(not ships) Moved to Hawaii in 1969, and when I decided to get out, I started work at the Univ of Hawaii, conducting Oceanographic research at sea around the Pacific. I spent about 50% of the last 35 or so years on a Research ship deploying instruments that I helped construct and also I was the Electronics officer aboard for most of those trips.
