About Me	Mike and I have had this crazy wonderful life together! He is so amazing! He puts up with me and supports all of my crazy ideas - like adopting 12 kids! Not all at once of course - but over the last 21 years we've been married. After several miscarriages, we finally decided it was time to adopt. And that we did. And adopt, and adopt, and adopt, and adopt! Then, after our 8th adoption, we got pregnant (for keeps!) We finally had a baby! (Our Sarah who is almost 7 now!) And then we had another one (Hannah - 5), and then another one (Joseph 3)! Life is full of surprises, and God definitely has a sense of humor! Then, as if that wasn't enough family-wise - we got our hearts stolen 4 more times (a sibling group). So, 15 kids later we have finally completed our family (maybe....) I have enjoyed being a foster parent and mother so much! My kids are all terrific! I have 8 sons and 7 daughters, counting adopted and biological. My older sons are all Eagle Scouts, most of my kids play the piano or some instrument. Some of our adopted children have special needs (we have an 8 year old boy <adopted> with Cerebral Palsy...HE IS AMAZING! My favorite things... Skiing with my family on a beautiful clear day (love those views and that powder!) Spending time at our lake property... Playing on the ocean beach with the kids at our favorite spots (Grayland, WA.) Christmas morning at our house! Ice skating with all my kids at Riverfront Park for my Birthday! Snuggling with a good book at 5 am, before any of the kids are up.
